About the exhibition
The Samuelis Baumgarte Galerie presents the extensive group exhibition "Komm mit in meine Welt..." ("Come with me into my World ...") with 20 internationally renowned artists with over 30 works. The summer exhibition places a special focus on the subject of traveling to other countries and worlds, some of which only exist in the imagination. The multifaceted interacting works invite you to explore real places, floral beauty and fantastic landscapes as inspiring cosms. Photographic works are contrasted with works with subtle and rhythmic brushstrokes, in a rapid or deliberate style, in a fine or impasto manner. Every single style pulls the viewer under its spell and forms an important position in the history of art of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The artistically diverse works invite you to enjoy the painted floral details in Dämmerung (Twilight), 2016 by Hans-Jörg Mayer and to dream of the discoveries in the digital collage In my garden, 2006 by Lucy Feller. In her works, the painter Christine Prause abducts the viewer into the calming, colorful scenery of the Palmenhof, (Palm yard) 2011 and, in cooperation with Germán Gómez ‘photography collage JH 49, 2018, lets us be very close to distant worlds.
The enjoyment of the last beach vacation and the relaxing days by the sea can be felt again in Fran Dropkin's painting Reflection, Late Summer, 2002. These impressions are followed by the dynamically collaged motorcycle rides by Calo d`en Serra relación 4, 2013 by the photography artist Christine Schindler in fascinating compositions. In contrast, the painter Vittorio Zambardi does without these. His works such as Hotel Bellevue, 2006 are representations of places in clearly structured landscapes and architectural formations.
All of the works shown represent a unique artistic processing of the discovery of our real world and the exploration of the cosmos of the human imagination. The works will take you on a journey: "Come with me into my world ..."
From 15 June to 5 September 2020 the exhibition „Komm mit in meine Welt…“ ("Come with me into my World ...") will be presented at the Samuelis Baumgarte Galerie.
