99 Herbert Brandl Born in 1959 in Graz. He attended the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Herbert Tasquil and Peter Weibel. The artist is internation- ally known for his participation in major exhibitions such as documenta IX in Kassel in 1992 and the Biennale di Venezia in 2007. From 2004 to 2019, Brandl taught as a professor at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He is one of the most important Austrian representatives of Neo-Expres- sionism. Helmut Ditsch Born in 1962 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began working as a freelance artist in Buenos Aires in 1983. 1985–1988 he becomes an extreme mountaineer and undertakes numerous expeditions in the Argentine Andes. 1988 moves to Austria and studies painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. 2000 he moves to Ireland. 2008 founds the FABRICA NACIONAL DE ARTE for art, music and design. First designs for the LE MANS Super Sport Car HD1. 2010 begins the exhibi- tion tour „GIRA NACIONAL Y POPULAR“ in Argentina. Xenia Hausner Born 1951 in Vienna is a painter and stage designer. She studied stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London from 1972—1976. From 1977 to 1992 she created sets for theater, opera and film, including the Burgtheater Vienna, the Salzburg Festival, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, London and the Theâtre Royal de la Monnaie Brussels, as well as in 2020 for the Rosenkavalier, production of André Heller, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin. Since 1992 she has worked exclusively as a painter. Her works are shown internationally in galleries, art fairs and museums. Her most recent solo exhibitions were 2020 Palais Populaire, Berlin, Germany, 2021 Albertina Vienna, Austria, 2022 Museum Franz Gertsch, Burgdorf, Switzerland. She is involved with Women Without Borders, starting with the project SAVE. She lives and works in Berlin and Vienna. Lois Hechenblaikner Born in 1958 in Reith im Alpbachtal. Trained as a motor vehicle electri- cian, he began taking photographs on long-distance trips. From the results of his photo expeditions he created slide multivision shows and went on tour with them. Since the mid-1990s, he has devoted himself to motifs of Tyrolean tourism and popular entertainment. As an artistic medium, he used photographs with small-format and large-format cameras, creating „series of works with depth grammar“ over periods of several years. In 2000, his multivision Wo ist Tirol? was awarded the Journalist and Publicist Prize at the Frankfurt Weitsicht Festival.
